Justin Bieber Urges Norweigian Fans to Chill, Listen to Police

The title of Justin Bieber's latest single is "Die in Your Arms."

Now we can only hope this won't be the singer's fate as he tries to navigate his way through the streets of Norway.

Bieber is in Oslo to perform four songs outside that city's famous opera house - as part of Justin Bieber: All Around the World, a special that airs June 21 on NBC - but crazed followers from around Europe have created a positively chaotic scene that has led police to nearly declare a state of emergency.

With Justin in a secret, secure location, authorities are urging him to hurry up and take the stage so they can then clear the streets - but so far the Biebs has simply responded to the mass hysteria via a Tweet that reads:

"...for the show to happen u must all listen to the police. we are all concerned for your safety and i want what is best for u. please listen."

This is far from the first time that overly enthusiastic Justin Bieber fans have caused violent problems.

Heck, fans in New Zealand once trampled his mom! Seriously, people, try to relax. His hair isn't that adorable.

UPDATE: Bieber debuted two new songs once he took the stage: "All Around The World" and "As Long As You Love Me."

Brewers beat Kershaw, Dodgers

Associated Press Sports

updated 2:20 a.m. ET May 31, 2012

LOS ANGELES (AP) - John Axford is heading toward another huge season for the Milwaukee Brewers - if he doesn't get burned out in the process.

Axford recorded his third save in three days and 10th in 11 chances this season, pitching a hitless ninth inning to close out a 6-3 win for Yovani Gallardo over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday night.

The right-hander had converted 49 straight save opportunities before blowing a lead on May 11 against the Chicago Cubs. The streak was the fourth-longest in big league history behind Eric Gagne (84), Tom Gordon (54) and Jose Valverde (51). Now he's on another run, but will probably get Thursday off after pitching four straight days.

"I felt good tonight and that's the reason I was in there," said Axford, who set a Brewers franchise record last season with 46 saves and tied Atlanta's Craig Kimbrel for the NL lead. "I felt better today than I even did yesterday. I just wanted to make my pitches, try and get out of there quickly without throwing 25. The last two nights I kept my pitch count down - for me, anyway."

Carlos Gomez tied a career high with four hits, including a a go-ahead two-run single against Clayton Kershaw, and the Brewers handed the reigning NL Cy Young Award winner his third loss in five starts.

Gallardo (4-4) was charged with three runs and eight hits in six-plus innings with eight strikeouts and three walks. The right-hander was lifted after the Dodgers loaded the bases with none out in the seventh, and Elian Herrera slapped Manny Parra's first pitch the other way through the right side to cut the Brewers' lead to 5-3.

Parra minimized the damage by striking out James Loney and retiring Tony Gwynn Jr. on a double-play grounder, one of three the Dodgers hit into in consecutive innings. The Brewers got an insurance run in the eighth before Francisco Rodriguez and Axford helped seal the win.

Dodgers center fielder Matt Kemp, playing his second game since coming off the disabled list, re-injured his left hamstring while scoring all the way from first base on a two-out double by Andre Ethier in the first inning. Last year's MVP runner-up was replaced in the field by Gwynn in the second.

"I just felt it grab a little bit. It's hurting pretty good right now, so we'll see what the MRI says tomorrow," said Kemp, who is hitting .355 with 12 homers and 28 RBIs in 36 games. "We went through all the tests, and I was running real hard and doing everything normal. I don't know what happened.

"It feels worse than the first time," Kemp said. "This my first time ever really having any hamstring problems, so I don't know how to really treat it."

Kershaw (4-3) allowed with five runs and eight hits in 5 2-3 innings, walked four and struck out seven. The left-hander retired only six of his final 15 batters, three on bunt plays and one on a double play.

"It was just a rough one tonight," Kershaw said. "I threw a lot of pitches and just couldn't put anybody away. I felt like I had decent stuff, but I just didn't make pitches when I needed to. But give them credit. They had really good at-bats all night."

Los Angeles still has the best record in the majors at 32-18 despite its first three-game losing streak of the season, and leads San Francisco by 5 1/2 games in the NL West. The Dodgers were the only team that hadn't lost more than two in a row.

"This is our first tough stretch of the year, but we'll come out of it and we'll be better for it," Kershaw added. "We don't know how long Matt's going to be out, but we've got to play like we did the first time he was out, and the guys who stepped up have got to keep doing that."

After giving up the Dodgers' first run, Gallardo walked his next two batters before retiring A.J. Ellis on a line drive that held up for Gomez in center field.

"I struggled in that first inning, so it was big for me to get into the seventh," Gallardo said. "I've was able to command my slider and curve ball behind or ahead in the count whenever I needed to."

Gomez put the Brewers ahead 2-1 in the fourth with his bases-loaded two-run single through the left side of the infield, and they tacked on three more runs in the sixth.

Rickie Weeks led off with a double and scored on a safety-squeeze bunt to first base by Martin Maldonado. Gallardo followed with an RBI single that hit the left field fence on the fly, chasing Kershaw after 117 pitches.

Corey Hart's bloop single against Javy Guerra put runners at the corners, and Norichika Aoki used his speed to turn a routine grounder to second base into an RBI single as Herrera fielded the ball flat-footed and was a step too late with the throw.

NOTES: Gallardo threw 35 pitches in the first inning and Kershaw made 34 in the fourth. ... Brewers C Jonathan Lucroy will undergo surgery Thursday on to put a pin in his broken right hand. Lucroy was injured Sunday night when his wife moved a suitcase in their hotel room and it fell on his hand.

Gaspari Nutrition with Viridex XT - Muscle Works Magazine

There are many testosterone enhancing dietary supplements on the market for men. Health Professionals and Parents, Part 2 - Childhood Obesity News

54 en half cm lang

We were talking about relationships between kids, their parents, and the people designated to monitor children?s health. There are certain things that should be known by every professional whose practice concerns childhood obesity ? and whose does not? Especially for those who are responsible for weighing and measuring children, it?s always important to understand the basics. This need is met by Assessment of Children, by Barbara J. Moore, Ph.D., a well-thought-out tutorial for professionals.

Available as a PDF file, the handbook was compiled by the president and CEO of Shape Up America! and its purpose is to aid in the assessment and prevention of obesity in children. It sets up, in a most emphatic way, the expectations:

Children should be measured in a respectful manner in a confidential and private setting. The data should be treated with the utmost care to insure confidentiality and should be shared with parents/caregivers as specified by locally applicable laws, policies or regulations.

There are complete instructions for the correct method of measuring body mass index (BMI) including some that make it clear how differently the procedure fits into a routine doctor visit and the environment of a public school where a great number of individuals have to be accommodated. The setting should of course be private, and the child should be weighed in light clothing only, without shoes or socks (although socks might need to be left on for ?practical purposes?). In fact, the text goes on to specify that for the measurement of height, there should absolutely be no socks.

Weighing should be done before a meal, a circumstance which parents need to be aware of when bringing kids to a doctor or clinic, and which might be hard to manage in a public school setting, where there are many scheduling factors to take into consideration. Also, weight should be taken ?after voiding,? which suggests what might, to some parents, be troubling questions. Can public schools really order children to use the bathroom on command? How much disrobing can be done to achieve the ?light clothing only? stricture, before someone objects and starts talking about legal action?

Among other resources, Assessment of Children offers form letters that can be adapted to the particular practice or institution. There are letters for notification of Normal Weight Status, Overweight Status, Obesity Status, Underweight Status, and for opting out.

Dr. Moore devotes much attention to the initiation of interventions with parents, listing several of the potential problems, starting with the fact that many parents are truly oblivious to the overweight condition of their own children. They console themselves with the ?big-boned? clich?, or convince themselves that kids will grow out of a chubby stage (which is sometimes true and perfectly natural.)

If other health care professionals in the child?s life have not previously raised a red flag, parents will be increasingly unwilling to believe each successive professional, on the grounds that if anything was wrong, somebody else would have mentioned it already. Although it?s hard to believe in these over-communicative days, some parents are not even aware of the medically serious and even life-threatening implications of childhood obesity.

And even if parents recognize a problem and are willing to take the necessary steps, sometimes they just don?t know what to do. In the average family, there are already plenty of issues going on between parents and children. If the family situation is already tense, they don?t want to make it worse. If the home atmosphere is relatively sane and peaceful, nobody wants to rock the boat.

Still, the booklet advises, once the parents acknowledge a problem and are psychologically ready to take action, they will want suggestions and recommendations, and the health care professional had better be prepared. Here is a sample:

Children typically want direct messages, small attainable goals, and parental support and acceptance.

To help their overweight children, parents are advised to:
? Communicate that their child is loved and accepted as they are today.
? Make family changes in lifestyle rather than impose individual changes on the child.
? Consult with the family health care provider before initiating dietary changes.

Your responses and feedback are welcome!

The REMARK checklist explained: How to use guidelines on reporting tumor marker prognostic studies

In an "elaboration and explanation" of the REMARK (Reporting Recommendations for Tumor Marker Prognostic Studies) checklist, Doug Altman of the University of Oxford, UK and colleagues provide a detailed reference for authors on important issues to consider when designing, conducting, analyzing and reporting tumor marker prognostic studies. Writing in this week's PLoS Medicine (and co-published in BMC Medicine) the authors explain the checklist items in detail and illustrate each one with published examples of good reporting.

In this Guidelines and Guidance article, the authors say: "Physicians seek information about tumor markers to inform therapeutic decisions for individual patients... In order for information about the utility of tumor markers to be appropriately evaluated, the methods used to study the markers and the results generated must be fully reported."

Incomplete reporting of prognostic marker studies in cancer and other specialities is a regrettably frequent occurrence. The REMARK recommendations (published in 2005) provide criteria for assessing the completeness of reporting of such studies, though it is important to highlight that REMARK should not be used to dictate standards for the quality of research. Instead, it is intended to be a useful tool to assist with assembling the necessary information for judging the quality and relevance of research. Altman and colleagues aim to educate users of the REMARK checklist, leading to more effective implementation of its recommendations, and as a result, more consistent, high quality reporting of tumor marker studies.

The authors comment: "Good reporting reveals the strengths and weaknesses of a study and facilitates sound interpretation and application of study results. The REMARK recommendations may also aid in planning new studies, and may be helpful for peer reviewers and editors in their evaluation of manuscripts."

SpaceX flyby of space station an historic first

The SpaceX Dragon capsule successfully made its first burn to approach the space station at 3:58 a.m Thursday. It was the final test before the SpaceX capsule docks at the ISS.

The world's first private supply ship flew tantalizingly close to the International Space Station on Thursday, May 24, 2012 in a critical test in advance of the actual docking scheduled for Friday, May 25, 2012.

The unmanned vehicle, called?Dragon, is built by Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX), and is the first commercial spacecraft ever launched toward the space station. During the rendezvous, the spacecraft approached within 1.6 miles (2.5 km) of the outpost. Dragon launched to orbit??from Cape Canaveral, Fla.,?early Tuesday (May 22) atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and is due to arrive at the station on Friday (May 25).

Today was a?final testing day for the capsule?before it can be cleared to attempt its first docking. The capsule performed a near flyby of the space station just as designed, without any mishap.

IN PICTURES: SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket

"Today is a really great day," NASA flight director Holly Ridings said during a briefing after the flyby. "It's been very, very successful up to this point."

Crewmembers inside the orbiting lab have been monitoring the vehicle's activities.

"We all look forward to it," space station Expedition 31 flight engineer Andre Kuipers of the European Space Agency said this morning. "We will dedicate today to Dragon." [SpaceX's Historic Dragon Flight to Space Station]

The capsule successfully made its first burn to approach the space station at 3:58 a.m. EDT (0758 GMT), and followed with another engine firing at 4:43 a.m. EDT (0843 GMT) that took Dragon to a position 1.6 miles (2.5 km) below and 25 miles (40 km) behind the?International Space Station, officially beginning its flyby. At around 7:25 a.m. EDT (1125 GMT), Dragon made its closest approach, passing through the imaginary line called the R-bar connecting the station and Earth.

From this spot, cameras on the outpost searched for sightings of the approaching capsule.

"Dragon may or may not be visible," NASA commentator Josh Byerly said. "Dragon should be a small dot on the horizon."

Shortly before 7 a.m. EDT (1100 GMT), station astronauts sent instructions to Dragon to turn on a strobe light as a test to make sure the craft can respond to commands sent by the astronauts. Though the light was invisible to the crew, the spacecraft's systems indicated that the command was received and responded to.

"It's too far out and brightly illuminated to see the strobe light," Kuipers said.

The space station is a $100 billion orbiting research lab built by a coalition of five international space agencies, including NASA, the Russian Federal Space Agency, the European Space Agency, the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency, and the Canadian Space Agency.

During Thursday's flyby, Dragon tested its navigation and communications instruments, including a system called Relative GPS that uses the distance between the station and the capsule to determine Dragon's position in space. The vehicle will also tried out its "COTS Ultra-high frequency Communication Unit" to send signals to the space station.

As Dragon approached the station, the spacecraft was visible as a small bright dot in the distance.

Immigration & Deportation Lawyers - | National Immigration Lawyers ...

In a recent Supreme Court decision, hundreds of thousands of already deported aliens (immigrants) or those currently in removal proceedings due to criminal convictions (guilty pleas or, quite possibly, convictions that resulted following a trial), may have the opportunity to either return to the United States and seek immigration relief or to seek an otherwise unavailable form of immigration relief if already in deportation proceedings.

In Judulang v. Holder, No. 10?694, December 12, 2011, the Supreme Court listened to the case of a Lawful Permanent Resident who had lived in the United States since 1974.? The Legal Immigrant pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in 1988, over ten years after his first entry into the United States.? In 2005, the United States? Department of Homeland Security initiated removal/deportation proceedings against the immigrant after he was convicted of another crime.

The Government charged the permanent resident as being deportable for having committed an ?aggravated felony,? as defined in immigration law, a body of law commonly referred to as the Immigration & Nationality Act or the ?INA.?? Federal immigration authorities argued that the immigrant was an aggravated felon because his 1988 voluntary manslaughter conviction fell within the definition of a ?crime of violence,? as written in the aggravated felony provision of the immigration law.

The hard working and long term permanent resident was facing deportation for a crime he had committed nearly fifteen years ago.? The Immigration Judge denied the permanent resident any immigration relief, refusing him the opportunity to apply for deportation relief under Section 212(c) of the Immigration & Nationality Act.? The Board of Immigration Appeals dismissed the immigrant?s appeal and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals agreed with the Immigration Judge and the Board of Immigration Appeals.

The Supreme Court, however, decided to hear the legal immigrant?s story and took a stand that shocked many.? The Supreme Court broke new ground in holding that a class? (composed of, possibly, hundreds of thousands of otherwise deportable aliens ((or aliens currently in deportation/removal proceeding or already ordered deported/removed)), who were deported as a result of a criminal conviction that is years old, have the opportunity to return to the United States and reargue their immigration case or, if the alien is currently in removal proceedings, the immigrant may now be able to assert a form of relief that was not otherwise available.

The basic requirements for 212(c) relief are that the alien who is in deportation proceedings (1) had resided as a Lawful Permanent Resident for seven years calculated in reverse of either the date of the conviction or prior to the date that the immigrant applies for 212(c) relief; (2) be deportable as a result of a guilty plea or a conviction following a trial where the plea agreement or the conviction occurred before a certain date in the mid-1990s; and (3) where the good things in the alien?s life outweigh the bad things in the individual alien?s life.

?The Supreme Court essentially ruled that those who were not eligible for a certain form of easily available relief from deportation are now eligible for it.? Also, if someone is now facing deportation because of a crime they committed years ago, a new avenue is now open for the person who is facing deportation to save him or herself from being forced to return to the country that person immigrated from,? said Raymond Lahoud, an immigration law and deportation defense attorney from the Pennsylvania-based law firm Baurkot & Baurkot.

A person who has already been deported may file a Motion to Reopen his or her deportation proceedings and have another day before an immigration court.? Immigrants who are now in removal proceedings may have the opportunity to ask the Immigration Judge for another, easier to secure, form of relief.

?Timing is important here as any motions related to this excellent Supreme Court decision,? said Lahoud, ?must be filed within a month of the decision.? It is imperative that those who are facing deportation or have been already deported to contact an experienced deportation defense attorney.?

If you, a family member or a friend are facing deportation or already have been deported as a result of a criminal conviction from years ago, contact the Law Offices of Baurkot & Baurkot at (484) 544-0022 for a free evaluation of your case.

Online content ? such as videos,?articles, comments, graphics ? has the chance of staying visible for a?much longer period of time than offline content. In fact, it can be?fairly difficult to remove content from online media once it has?gained a certain visibility. (This should be kept in mind when?publishing sensitive content.)

In today?s social media world, the number of people who will see your?online content will (quite likely) be much larger than the number of?people you can reach via offline methods, simply due to the?potentially viral mediums social media outlets provide. The people you?reach online will probably also represent a greater variety of people,?as targeting a specific group becomes much more challenging. A misstep?online can therefore have much more drastic consequences than a?similar misstep offline. At the same time, a well-placed contribution?online will have more potential to impact your company than the same?content placed offline.

Although large networks mislead you into seeking the largest number of?people reached, you should consider if these people truly represent?your target group. Then, if so, can they be reached via these?networks? In the end, it is not the number that counts, but if you?have really connected to people interested in you and your business.?Ask yourself: can your target group be reached via Twitter, Facebook?or Google+, or rather LinkedIn? It might be worth looking at smaller?networks, as they may be better suited to reach the right people for?you. This can be compared to offline networking, as many prefer a?small conference over a large business fair, if if it is better suited?to their direct purpose.

Same Goals, Different Approach

sf Content Marketing Online and Offline ExpertiseThe goals in online and offline content marketing are closely?connected: build a reputation as an expert and connect to people who?can turn into business partners, collaborators and clients. With?online and offline content marketing, it is important to attract the?handful of people that fit with your business ideology, rather than?wasting time investing on an infinite amount of unrelated people. Let?this consideration be part of the decision in which type of content?you use. Rather create content that is helpful to your target audience?than ?fun? stuff that is spread, but does not inspire relevant people?to return to you for information.

With offline networking, target groups can be more easily identified?and reached at conferences and business fairs. Online, this kind of?targeting is more tricky; rather than an introduction at a specific?conference (with a preselected audience), your online networks are?created by building an interested and faithful readership of friends,?followers, ?and fans. Locating and interacting with your right target?group relates to formulating a strong content strategy. ?Online you?must produce continuity and consistency, as well as quality in your?content. Whereas one piece of good content, i.e. a presentation at?conference, can be enough in offline marketing ? you will probably?need more than that to gain the success you are looking for online.

Personality vs. Anonymity

6235678871 b7e7d1aec5 300x199 Content Marketing Online and Offline ExpertiseAlthough speaking for a company throughout social media might induce a?desired amount of anonymity, you should be aware that personality?plays a big role in reputation. Even if the diction and facts in your?content are perfect, when personality is missing you risk someone else?get the job, as most of us would prefer to work with someone we feel?we ?know? and can trust. In offline content marketing, your?personality is usually part of the picture; you personally speak at a?conference and the best business meetings might have result from the?shared coffee after your talk. Within the anonymity of the Internet,?you have to make sure your personality transcends through the screen.?This might especially be a problem if your company expertise builds on?the expertise of multiple employees, or you choose to have social?media activity run by an external social media manager.

You can achieve great things with your content marketing activities.?Being aware of the differences between online and offline content?marketing and playing them to your own advantage could make the?difference in making the right connections and generating the most?active leads.

Russia and Exxon Mobil Sign Arctic Oil Deal

Russia and Exxon Mobil Sign Arctic Oil Deal

Posted on May?25,?2012

In a bid to remain the world?s top oil producer, Russia is partnering with Exxon Mobil and a number of other foreign oil companies to develop plans to get at reserves deep beneath the Arctic crust as early as 2020.

The deal, signed on April 18, gives Exxon Mobil access to oil fields in the Black Sea and grants Russia access to some of Exxon Mobil?s oil stock in Texas, Canada and the Gulf of Mexico. Some estimates put the oil and gas reserves beneath Russia?s patch of the Arctic at 100 billion tons. ?ARK

NPR:

?If you want to be in this business in 2020, 2025, you must think about the Arctic,? says Konstantin Simonov, head of the National Energy Security Fund in Moscow.

In the past month, Moscow has signed several deals with foreign oil companies designed to maintain Russia?s position as the top producer. The most important deal, and the most lucrative, is a partnership between Exxon Mobil and Russian oil giant Rosneft.

Exxon Mobil could eventually spend half a trillion dollars to look for and extract oil and gas in the Russian Arctic. The investment is enormous, but so are the potential rewards.

For many people, Memorial Day marks the start of the summer vacation season, but to many of Texas State Railroad employees and its management, Memorial Day is a time to honor those who defended our nation?s freedom.

Our Military Event is able to exist only because of the many volunteers who share their time, energy, and collections to demonstrate the reality of our history and the fact that we only continue to exist as the greatest nation in the world due to the sacrifice of our citizens during times of war. We participate in the general expressions of memory for all deceased relatives at this time, and we believe it is especially important to remember our fallen defenders- we owe our freedom to their sacrifices. We hope that everyone will come out to the Texas State Railroad at Palestine and share the Memorial Day tradition, especially with their children who will be able to see first-hand the equipment and conditions that our forefathers lived with.

Tennessee Titans: Making room for Kendall Wright, Kenny Britt and Nate Washington

Published: About an hour ago

Jim Brown-US PRESSWIRE

There has been a lot of talk around Nashville these past few days about Tennessee Titans first round draft pick, Kendall Wright, moving into the same position as current wide receiver Kenny Britt. I don?t understand why people are panicking.

Britt is an excellent receiver and it?s not like Wight is coming in to replace him. The coaches told the Tennessean the other day that they are experimenting with it because they feel it will be a good learning experience for Wright. It?s true isn?t it? If you?re going to learn you mind as well learn from one of the best. Just because Wright is moving into the ?X? receiver spot doesn?t mean that Britt is not going to be healthy for the regular season.

Then there is the argument of where Britt will go when the Titans still have Nate Washington and Marc Mariani fighting for more time with the ball. Last time I checked, this was yet another GOOD problem for the Titans to have. Fortunately Offensive Coordinator Chris Palmer is working on adjustments that will hopefully allow the three best receivers to be on the field all at the same time with a three-wideout formation.

?Our plan is to have the best three receivers on the field? I?ll promise you this: If Kenny?s healthy, Kendall?s healthy and Nate?s healthy, all three of them will be on the field at one time.?

This is the part of football that is fun. The creativity to put all of your biggest weapons together at one time so that the offense is unstoppable is the ultimate goal. Palmer has the experience and the vision to do this and I think everyone just needs to calm down.

Female gamers more likely to play app versions of console games ...

ACCORDING to research from a video game price comparison and marketplace site, female gamers are more likely to download and play Smartphone app versions of video games originally designed for consoles.

Smartphone versions of popular console games are becoming increasingly common in today's 'app' culture, and according to the results of a new study by a video game price comparison and marketplace site, female video game fans are most likely to download these games on their Smartphones.

Lara Croft.jpg

The study, conducted by www.Playr2.com, aimed to look more into gamers' attitudes towards 'gaming on the move' following last month's release of the portable Vita console. 1,231 self-confessed gamers subsequently took part, all aged 18 and over.

Those taking part in the study were asked if they owned a Smartphone with access to downloadable applications, to which 83% of the respondents answered "yes". These respondents were then asked whether or not they had downloaded 'app versions of console video games' on their Smartphones, to which just over two fifths, 41%, answered "yes".

Of those who had downloaded an app version of a console video game on their Smartphone, 56% were female; compared to the remaining 44% who were male. The results of the study therefore suggested that app versions of video games are more popular amongst female gamers; with more women having downloaded them on their Smartphones than men.

Those taking part who had downloaded app versions of console video games on their Smartphone were subsequently asked to specify what games they had downloaded, of which the ten most common games were as follows:

1) Tiger Woods
2) Tetris
3) Grand Theft Auto 3
4) Assassin's Creed
5) Sonic the Hedgehog
6) FIFA 12
7) The Sims
8) Need for Speed
9) Command and Conquer
10) Worms 2

When asked why they had downloaded a console game app, the most popular answer amongst all respondents was 'in order to have a portable version of the game'; with 51% of gamers taking part claiming this as their main reason for downloading. In contrast, of those who hadn't downloaded an app version of a video game, the main reason for 67% was the fear of a 'poor gaming experience'.
The study asked gamers if they believed that Smartphones would ever replace video game consoles as a platform for gaming, to which that vast majority, 74%, said "no". When asked why, more than two thirds, 67%, simply believed that the gaming experience of playing a video game on a Smartphone could never match that of a console.

Simon Kilby, Founder of Playr2.com, commented on the findings: "Gaming is becoming more and more portable, and certainly with handheld and Smartphone developments, it's easier than ever to have access to your favourite video games on the move. With this survey we wanted to look into how gamers view app versions of console games, and it was interesting to find that more female gamers had downloaded them than men, with most simply wanting a 'portable' game."

He continued: "According to the results, most gamers fear a diminished quality of game when downloading an app version; and it's not hard to see why. Whilst developers have brought apps a long way, the gaming experience on a Smartphone is far from that of a console; but it's undeniable that they're a great fix whilst on the move."

2012 Fantasy Baseball Two Start Pitchers, Week 9

Oh, the Memorial Day weekend is here, subtle rejoice. ?It is officially the start to the season of way too tight Affliction t-shirts that are monikered in glitter and shirts that are sold in the three-pack variety. ?What could be better than that, I?ll tell you what. ?A horse drawn fruit cart.?Like?back in the old days. ?I mean, who doesn?t like daily fresh produce conveniently delivered, or, in?this?case, walked past your door. ?I mean, just thinking of that makes me want to get some mush melon and maybe some?prosciutto, sit outside and play click clack in my?aforementioned?assemblage of t-shirts. ?So everyone is probably out at a bbq and not even reading this as its a big going out weekend, but if you are here thanks for being dedicated and taking 10 minutes to read this. ?Have a great holiday weekend and if you?re going to drink, be responsible and at least bring me one while your up. (Please keep in mind?that?pitchers and match-ups change.)

One Start Options:

5/30

Bruce Chen @ Cle ? Gomez

Anthony Bass @ CHC ? Dempster

6/1

Wei-Yin Chen @ TB ? Price

Mike Leake @ Hou ? Happ

Derek Lowe vs Min ? Pavano

Felipe Paulino vs Oak ? Colon

Clayton Richard vs Ari ? Miley

Two Start Options:

Zach McCallister (KC vs Adcock, Min vs Diamond) In some weird?parallel?universe that is saved by the bell, Zach pitches against his geeky friend Screech. ?No word on if Jessie is going to be ?so excited? or if Mr. Belding will throw out the first pitch.

Bronson Arroyo (@Pit vs McDonald, @Hou vs Harrell) Ugh really has it been three weeks already. ?Ok I will find something useful for you to ponder if you want to pick him up?.took me awhile so enjoy this gem. He has given up zero runs on the road during a day game, and you don?t have to check -? both games are during the day.

Drew Hutchinson (Bal vs Arrieta, Bos vs Bard)? Those dreaded starts against the AL East, I shake my fist at thee. ?I am going to hunt down Mrs. AL East and torment here for not being more green on the fantasy?environment.

Travis Wood (SD vs Suppan, @SF vs Zito) I?m actually curious to see if Wood can carve out some NL-only or deeper league value by the end of next week. ?It?s possible; I mean it?s also possible I turn into a sea horse and am forced to give birth to other sea horses.

Juan Nicasio (Hou vs Rodriguez, LAD vs Harang) His name loosely translated means WHIP-tard. ?So by burying your periphs he can say its just part of family tradition and he can?t be held accountable.

Felix Doubront (Det vs Fister, @Tor ve Drabek) Is in the top 7 in K/9, unfortunately he hands out free passes?like?a guy on the Vegas strip handing out business cards to Spearmint Rhino.

Scott Diamond (Oak vs TBD, @Cle vs McCallister) I would be nervous against the TBD starter that Oakland has to throw out there. ?Could be anyone really ? Rollie Fingers, that guy Henter from Bases Loaded, or that barista guy from your local coffee house. ?This week?s number one option has to be this guy, right?

Jake Arrieta (Tor vs Hutchinson, @TB vs Moore) Way too hittable and gives up too many big flies for my liking. ?The frog from frog bog doesn?t agree. ?So even imaginary amphibians are fantasy baseball critics. ?Just proving the point that they will let anyone evaluate stats.

Kevin Millwood (@Tex?vs?Harrison, @CHW vs Sale) One. ?Count ?em one earned run in the last 3 starts spanning 22 innings. ?He is owned in less then 5% of leagues. ?To me that makes complete sense, because Clay Buchholz is owned in over 40%?. wait huh? ?Has been a streamer delight so far, now you can get him for a 2 for 1 special. ?I?d rather use my coupons elsewhere, but you do what you do.

Aaron Harang (Mil vs Marcum, @Col vs Nicasio) Always has a mug on his face like he is currently doing the cinnamon challenge. ?Just an FYI ? do not try the cinnamon challenge; it usually ends up like dollar beer happy hour.
